Terry Lynn Vought, age 57 of Broadway, died Tuesday (7/10/2012) at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. He was born on October 10, 1954 in Roane County, Tennessee, son of the late Charles Edward Vought and Dorothy Lillian Wilcoxon Vought. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Dusty Vought. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and was retired from General Shale Brick. Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm Friday at the Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Welborn and Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery. Surviving are his wife Bonnie Thomas Blalock Vought of the home; Sons Clayton Edward Vought and wife Nicole of Sanford, NC and Charles Robert Vought of Oak Ridge, TN; Stepsons David Gregory King of Oak Ridge, TN, Billy Blalock and wife Rachelle of Lillington, NC and Wayne Blalock of Broadway, NC; Sisters Janet Sue Cromwell of Harriman, TN, Patricia Ann Wilcoxon of Phoenix, AZ and Nival Charlene Trammell and husband Eddie of Rockwood, TN; Brother Samuel Frank Vought and wife Shirley of Aberdeen, MD; Two grandchildren and three step grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway and other times at the family home, 312 Third Street Broadway. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials are made to the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 370 Broadway, NC 27505. Arrangments are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
