Thomas David Sharpe, age 54 of Sanford, died Saturday (5/5/2012) at his home. He was born on March 31, 1958, son of the late Ervin Blue Sharpe and Joanne Welch Sharpe. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Cameron Grove Cemetery in Sanford. Surviving are his wife Julie Fields Sharpe of the home; Sons Tristan Sharpe and Eric Sharpe both of the home and Derrick Sharpe of Sanford, NC; Daughter Tasha Sharpe of Sanford, NC; Sister Teresa Sharpe Baker of Sanford, NC; Six grandchildren and one niece. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Monday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway and other times at the family home, 383 Sharpe Road Sanford. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
